Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved (or quartered if large)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, for drizzling after cooking (optional)
Instructions:
- Wash and thoroughly dry the Brussels sprouts. Trim the ends and remove any loose outer leaves. Halve or quarter (if large) to ensure even cooking.
- In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat evenly.
- Arrange the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the sprouts are tender and slightly charred. Look for a golden-brown colour.
- Remove the Brussels sprouts from the air fryer and transfer to a serving dish. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar (if using) and serve immediately.
