Ingredients:

  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs / 680 g)
  • 3 tablespoons whole grain mustard (45 g)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (3 g)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (3 g)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (2 g)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole grain mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the bowl and coat them evenly with the mustard mixture. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the marinated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken using tongs.
  5. Cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the exterior is golden brown.
  6. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice, plate, and enjoy!
