Ingredients:
- 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs / 680 g)
- 3 tablespoons whole grain mustard (45 g)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (3 g)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (3 g)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (2 g)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine whole grain mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
- Place the chicken breasts in the bowl and coat them evenly with the mustard mixture. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the marinated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken using tongs.
- Cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the exterior is golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
