- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (2.5 ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (2.5 ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, 1.25 ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (2.5 ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1.25 ml)
Instructions:
- Pat chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly all over the chicken drumsticks, ensuring every inch is coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange chicken drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 20-25 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) using a meat thermometer and the skin is golden brown and crispy.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
