Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (454g) ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 1/2 pound (227g) ground pork (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (60g) breadcrumbs, plain
  • 1/4 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Gently combine ground beef, ground pork (if using), breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Pour the mixture over the meat mixture.
  3. Gently mix all ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Roll the meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  5. Arrange meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  6. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The meatballs should be nicely browned.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite sauce and sides.
