Ingredients:
- 1 pound (454g) ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1/2 pound (227g) ground pork (optional)
- 1/2 cup (60g) breadcrumbs, plain
- 1/4 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk (whole or 2%)
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Gently combine ground beef, ground pork (if using), breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Pour the mixture over the meat mixture.
- Gently mix all ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Roll the meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Arrange meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The meatballs should be nicely browned.
- Serve immediately with your favorite sauce and sides.
