Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) pork sausage meat or your favorite sausage flavor
- 1/2 cup (50g) breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the pork sausage meat, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, dried oregano, paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Roll out each sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it is about ¼ inch thick.
- Cut each sheet into rectangles approximately 4x6 inches in size.
- Place a generous spoonful of filling along one edge of each pastry rectangle.
- Fold over the other side to encase the filling completely; press down firmly to seal.
- Use a fork to crimp edges for extra sealing and decoration if desired.
- Preheat your air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Brush each roll with beaten egg to achieve that golden color while cooking.
