Ingredients:
- 3.5 lb turkey breast roast
- 3 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
- 2 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh sage, finely minced
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, minced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions:
- Pat the turkey breast thoroughly dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy skin.
- Mix the rub. Combine 1 tbsp kosher salt, 2 tsp black pepper, 1 tbsp minced sage, 1 tbsp minced rosemary, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp smoked paprika in a small bowl.
- Apply the oil. Coat the entire surface with 3 tbsp avocado oil, making sure to get into any crevices.
- Season thoroughly. Rub the herb mixture over the turkey, pressing it firmly so it sticks to the oil.
- Preheat the fryer. Set your air fryer to 350°F for 5 minutes until the basket is radiating heat.
- Position the roast. Place the turkey in the basket, skin side up.
- Cook for 1 hour. Air fry at 350°F, checking the internal temperature at the 45 minute mark until the skin is dark golden brown.
- Monitor the temp. Continue cooking until the thickest part reaches 160°F.
- Transfer to board. Carefully remove the roast and place it on a cutting board.
- Rest the meat. Leave the turkey untouched for 15 minutes until the juices settle and the temp hits 165°F.
