Ingredients:
- 1 oz aged Jamaican rum
- 1 oz Martinique rhum agricole
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 0.5 oz orange curaçao
- 0.5 oz orgeat syrup
- 0.25 oz rich simple syrup (2:1 ratio)
- 2 cups crushed ice
- 1 spent lime shell (for garnish)
- 1 fresh mint sprig (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Add the freshly squeezed lime juice, rich simple syrup, orgeat syrup, and orange curaçao to a cocktail shaker or glass jar.
- Pour in the aged Jamaican rum and the Martinique rhum agricole.
- Fill the shaker with approximately 2 cups of crushed ice.
- Shake vigorously for exactly 10 seconds until the outside of the vessel feels frost-chilled.
- Pour the entire contents, including the ice, into a double rocks glass. Garnish with the spent lime shell and a fresh mint sprig.
