Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each, skin-on or skinless)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
- 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- .5 teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well blended.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each fillet generously with the marinade using a pastry brush or spoon.
- Transfer the baking sheet to your preheated oven and bake for about 15–20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Once done baking, remove from oven and let rest for about five minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with optional lemon wedges on top for added flavor!
