Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, add jelly, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Use a whisk to blend all ingredients until they are thoroughly combined and smooth.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld and thicken slightly.
- Remove from heat and let the sauce cool for about 15 minutes.
- Transfer the cooled sauce into a mason jar or airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
