Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fruit jelly (such as grape or peach)
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, add jelly, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  2. Use a whisk to blend all ingredients until they are thoroughly combined and smooth.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.
  4. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld and thicken slightly.
  5. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool for about 15 minutes.
  6. Transfer the cooled sauce into a mason jar or airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
