Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 pack (12 count) Hawaiian rolls
- 6 slices American cheese
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 12 small pickle chips
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, mustard, relish, vinegar, paprika, and onion powder in a small bowl. Set aside in the refrigerator to allow the flavors to meld.
- Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Press the meat into a rectangular shape in a skillet to match the dimensions of the rolls. Brown over medium-high heat until fully cooked, then break into crumbles and drain excess grease.
- Slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread a generous layer of the prepared sauce across the bottom.
- Top the sauce with the cooked beef, followed by a layer of American cheese slices. Place the top buns back on the sliders.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter mixed with garlic powder. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the buns are toasted golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, lift the top buns, and layer the shredded iceberg lettuce and pickle chips before serving.
