Ingredients:
- 1 (8 oz / 227 g) wheel of brie cheese
- 2 tablespoons honey (30 ml)
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts, pecans) (30 g)
- 1/4 cup dried fruits (e.g., cranberries, apricots) (40 g)
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary or thyme (optional) (5 g)
- 1 baguette or assorted crackers (about 200 g)
- Optional: Fresh fruit for garnish (e.g., apple slices, grapes)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Using a sharp knife, slice the top rind of the brie wheel to expose some of the cheese.
- In a small bowl, mix the honey, chopped nuts, dried fruits, and herbs (if using).
- Spoon the nut and fruit mixture over the brie, spreading it evenly.
- Place the brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until it is soft and gooey.
- Carefully remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving with sliced baguette or crackers.
