Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz / 227 g) wheel of brie cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey (30 ml)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts, pecans) (30 g)
  • 1/4 cup dried fruits (e.g., cranberries, apricots) (40 g)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary or thyme (optional) (5 g)
  • 1 baguette or assorted crackers (about 200 g)
  • Optional: Fresh fruit for garnish (e.g., apple slices, grapes)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Using a sharp knife, slice the top rind of the brie wheel to expose some of the cheese.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the honey, chopped nuts, dried fruits, and herbs (if using).
  4. Spoon the nut and fruit mixture over the brie, spreading it evenly.
  5. Place the brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until it is soft and gooey.
  6. Carefully remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving with sliced baguette or crackers.
