Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet (14.1 oz / 400g) frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 4 oz (115g) Brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup (30g) shelled pistachios, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Roll lightly if desired.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into approximately 2-inch squares.
  4. Place pastry squares on the baking sheet. Top each with brie and cranberry sauce.
  5. Brush the edges of each bite with beaten egg.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pistachios over the bites.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  8. Cool slightly before transferring to a serving platter. Enjoy these delicious hors d'oeuvres with puff pastry!
