- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups (360g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (80g) cake mix (preferably vanilla or funfetti)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (180g) chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cake mix, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes for better handling.
- Scoop dough onto a prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
