Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (200g) packed light brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (90g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon (2g) baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon (2g) salt
  • 1 ½ cups (150g) crushed Oreo cookies (about 12 cookies)
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 10 whole Oreo cookies, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the baking pan: Grease or line with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Whisk in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined. Fold in crushed Oreo cookies.
  5. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Cool the brownies in the pan on a wire rack for at least 15 minutes before adding the topping.
  8. In a mixing bowl, beat together heavy cream, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
  9. Spread the creamy topping evenly over the cooled brownies.
  10. Garnish with whole Oreo cookies on top.
  11. Slice and serve.
