Ingredients:
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (200g) packed light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (90g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon (2g) baking powder
- ½ teaspoon (2g) salt
- 1 ½ cups (150g) crushed Oreo cookies (about 12 cookies)
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (60g) powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) pure vanilla extract
- 10 whole Oreo cookies, for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the baking pan: Grease or line with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Whisk in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined. Fold in crushed Oreo cookies.
- Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool the brownies in the pan on a wire rack for at least 15 minutes before adding the topping.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together heavy cream, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread the creamy topping evenly over the cooled brownies.
- Garnish with whole Oreo cookies on top.
- Slice and serve.
