- 1/2 medium (75g) ripe avocado
- 1 tsp (5ml) lemon juice
- 1 tsp (5g) everything bagel seasoning
- 1 tsp (5ml) hot honey
Instructions:
- Toast the sourdough slices until the edges are a deep golden brown and the center feels firm. If using a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sear each side for 2 minutes.
- Mash the cottage cheese with a fork for a chunky texture, or pulse it in a mini-food processor for 30 seconds for a whipped consistency. Stir in the sea salt and cracked black pepper.
- Spread a generous layer of the cottage cheese mixture over the hot toast, ensuring it reaches the edges.
- Slice the avocado into thin ribbons and fan them across the cheese layer.
- Drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning, and finish with a drizzle of hot honey.
