Ingredients:
- 1 baguette, thinly sliced OR 1 sheet (14.1 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (if using baguette)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 (14-ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce OR 1 1/2 cups homemade cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, toasted (optional)
Instructions:
- If using baguette: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush baguette slices with olive oil. Arrange on baking sheet and toast for 5-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Cool slightly.

- In a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese, honey, and orange zest. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each toasted baguette slice or pastry square.
- Top each bite with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
- Sprinkle with toasted nuts (if using).
- Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Arrange on a platter and serve immediately or within a few hours.
