Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado (about 200g)
  • 1 medium banana, peeled (about 120g)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves, packed (about 30g)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (240ml) or your preferred milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (15ml)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (about 15ml)
  • Optional: Ice cubes (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the ingredients by slicing the avocado in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh into the blender.
  2. Add the banana, spinach, almond milk, honey, and lemon juice to the blender.
  3. If desired, add ice cubes for a chilled smoothie.
  4. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if necessary.
  6. Pour into two glasses and enjoy immediately.
