Ingredients:
- 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained thoroughly
- 1 large ripe Hass avocado
- 1.5 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely minced
- 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Halve the avocado and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a medium mixing bowl and immediately drizzle with the lime juice to prevent browning.
- Use a fork to mash the avocado until it is approximately 70% smooth, leaving some small chunks for texture.
- Add the thoroughly drained tuna to the bowl. Use the side of the fork to flake the tuna into the avocado mash until the fish is evenly coated.
- Fold in the minced red onion, diced celery, and cilantro.
- Season with sea salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir gently to combine and serve immediately.
