Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups (225g) Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 scoop (approx. 25-30g) Vanilla or Unflavoured Protein Powder
  • ½ cup (120g) Plain Greek Yogurt (2% or full fat)
  • ½ large Banana, frozen (recommended)
  • ¾ cup (180ml) Unsweetened Almond, Oat, or Dairy Milk
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) Chia Seeds or Ground Flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon Maple Syrup or Honey (optional, to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Add the liquid (milk) to the blender jug first to protect the blades and facilitate mixing.
  2. Layer the remaining ingredients: add the Greek yogurt, protein powder, chia/flax seeds, and optional sweetener.
  3. Add the frozen banana pieces (if using) and the frozen blueberries last.
  4. Secure the lid. Start the blender on a low speed, gradually increasing to high power. Use the tamper tool to push ingredients down toward the blades until smooth.
  5. Blend continuously until the mixture is completely smooth, resembling soft-serve ice cream consistency.
  6. If the blender struggles, add liquid one tablespoon at a time. If too thin, add a few extra frozen blueberries and blend again.
  7. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.
