Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups (225g) Frozen Blueberries
- 1 scoop (approx. 25-30g) Vanilla or Unflavoured Protein Powder
- ½ cup (120g) Plain Greek Yogurt (2% or full fat)
- ½ large Banana, frozen (recommended)
- ¾ cup (180ml) Unsweetened Almond, Oat, or Dairy Milk
- 1 tablespoon (15g) Chia Seeds or Ground Flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon Maple Syrup or Honey (optional, to taste)
Instructions:
- Add the liquid (milk) to the blender jug first to protect the blades and facilitate mixing.
- Layer the remaining ingredients: add the Greek yogurt, protein powder, chia/flax seeds, and optional sweetener.
- Add the frozen banana pieces (if using) and the frozen blueberries last.
- Secure the lid. Start the blender on a low speed, gradually increasing to high power. Use the tamper tool to push ingredients down toward the blades until smooth.
- Blend continuously until the mixture is completely smooth, resembling soft-serve ice cream consistency.
- If the blender struggles, add liquid one tablespoon at a time. If too thin, add a few extra frozen blueberries and blend again.
- Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.
