Ingredients:
- 1 cup (170g) steel cut oats
- 4 cups (950ml) water

- ½ teaspoon (2.5g) salt
- 1 tablespoon (15g) brown sugar (optional for sweetness)
- Fresh fruits (berries, banana slices, or diced apples)
- Nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pecans)
- Honey or maple syrup
- Spices (cinnamon or nutmeg)

- In the slow cooker, combine steel cut oats, water, milk, salt, and brown sugar (if using).
- Cover and set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
