Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread (white or whole grain, 10 oz / 280 g)
  • 4 slices of cheese (such as cheddar or American, 8 oz / 225 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter (softened, 28 g)
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder (optional, for added flavor, 5 g)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Lay cheese slices between two pieces of bread, buttered sides out.
  3. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper inside the sandwich if desired.
  4. Set the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes.
  5. Place the sandwiches in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the air fryer, cut in half, and enjoy.
