Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bread (white or whole grain, 10 oz / 280 g)
- 4 slices of cheese (such as cheddar or American, 8 oz / 225 g)
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter (softened, 28 g)
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder (optional, for added flavor, 5 g)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Lay cheese slices between two pieces of bread, buttered sides out.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper inside the sandwich if desired.
- Set the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes.
- Place the sandwiches in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from the air fryer, cut in half, and enjoy.
