Ingredients:

  • 3 medium apples (Granny Smith or Fuji), thinly sliced (about 600g)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (2g)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15ml)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (15g), optional for sweetness

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. Prepare baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
  3. Wash and core the apples, then slice them thinly using a mandoline or knife (about 1/8-inch thick).
  4. In a mixing bowl, toss the apple slices with lemon juice and cinnamon (add sugar if desired).
  5. Lay the apple slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets, making sure they don’t overlap.
  6. Bake in the oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, flipping halfway.
  7. Allow to cool before enjoying or storing.
