Ingredients:
- 1 package (14 oz) of puff pastry, thawed (400 g)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 8 oz brie cheese, cut into small pieces (225 g)
- 1/4 cup fig jam or cranberry sauce (60 ml)
- Fresh rosemary or thyme, finely chopped, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry to about 1/8-inch thickness.
- Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut the pastry into 3-inch squares.
- Place a piece of brie and a dollop of fig jam/cranberry sauce in the center of each square. Sprinkle with herbs.
- Fold the corners of each pastry square toward the center and pinch to seal.
- Brush the tops of the sealed bites with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Place the bites on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving warm.
