Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped candy bars (e.g., Snickers, Twix, Milky Way)
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined. Add in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined—do not overmix!
- Gently fold in your chopped candy bars and chocolate chips into the batter.
- Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake in preheated oven for about 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs but no wet batter.
- Allow blondies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before lifting out using parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles as desired. Drizzle with extra melted chocolate or caramel if you like!
