Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped candy bars (e.g., Snickers, Twix, Milky Way)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined. Add in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined—do not overmix!
  4. Gently fold in your chopped candy bars and chocolate chips into the batter.
  5. Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake in preheated oven for about 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs but no wet batter.
  6. Allow blondies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before lifting out using parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles as desired. Drizzle with extra melted chocolate or caramel if you like!
