Ingredients:
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (preferably 70% cacao)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 cup whole almonds, roughly chopped
- Additional dark chocolate chips for drizzling (optional, about 1/4 cup)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine dark chocolate chips and almond milk. Melt in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Add sugar, almond flour, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the melted chocolate. Whisk until completely combined and smooth.
- Gently fold in the chopped almonds until evenly distributed.
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, portion the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until the edges are firm and the tops look slightly glossy.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- If desired, melt additional chocolate chips and drizzle over the treats once cooled.
