Ingredients:
- 40 Mini Pretzel Twists (fresh and unbroken)
- 40 Hershey's Kisses (Milk chocolate or caramel-filled, unwrapped)
- 40 Plain M&M's (or Smarties)
- Coarse Sea Salt (Optional, for sprinkling)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to a very low temperature: 300°F (150°C). Line a large baking sheet completely with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
- Arrange the 40 mini pretzels flat on the prepared sheet, leaving a small space between each one. Unwrap all 40 chocolate Kisses and place one Kiss directly in the centre of each pretzel twist.
- Bake for exactly 4 to 6 minutes. The chocolate will look glossy, soft, and slightly slumped, but must not be completely melted or liquid. The tip of the Kiss should still retain some shape.
- Immediately remove the sheet from the oven and place it on a heatproof surface. Working quickly, gently press one M&M firmly onto the centre of each softened chocolate Kiss. This flattens the chocolate slightly and secures the topping.
- If using, immediately sprinkle a tiny pinch of coarse sea salt onto the soft chocolate around the M&M.
- Allow the bites to cool undisturbed at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator or freezer and chill for a minimum of 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely hard and non-sticky.
- Once fully set, peel the Pretzel Bites off the parchment paper and store them in an airtight container at cool room temperature or in the fridge.
