Ingredients:

  • 1 pound frozen meatballs (beef, turkey, or plant-based)
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil, for garnish
  • Additional cheese, for extra gooeyness

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Gather all ingredients and equipment. Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In the baking dish, dump frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, cooked pasta, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly, garnish with fresh basil, and serve warm.
