Ingredients:
- 6 cups (300g) Golden Grahams cereal
- 12 oz (340g) Mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup (113g) Unsalted butter
- 1 cup (170g) Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp (5ml) Vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) Fine sea salt
Instructions:
- Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- In a large microwave-safe glass bowl, combine the unsalted butter and 11 oz of mini marshmallows. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until the mixture is velvety and smooth.
- Immediately stir the vanilla extract and fine sea salt into the melted marshmallow mixture.
- Pour the melted mixture over the Golden Grahams cereal and toss gently with a spatula until every piece of cereal is evenly coated.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips while the mixture is still warm to allow them to soften slightly.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and press down firmly with the back of a spatula. If reserving marshmallows, press them into the top now.
- Allow the bars to set at room temperature for 10 minutes before slicing with a warm knife.
