Ingredients:

  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Grease the baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and add the vanilla extract.
  5. Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  6. Press half of the Rice Krispies mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs evenly over the base.
  8. Layer the chocolate chips and then the remaining mini marshmallows on top.
  9. Gently press the remaining Rice Krispies mixture over the smores layer.
  10. Allow to cool at room temperature for about 15 minutes before slicing into squares.
