Ingredients:
- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows (for topping)
Instructions:
- Grease the baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and add the vanilla extract.
- Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- Press half of the Rice Krispies mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs evenly over the base.
- Layer the chocolate chips and then the remaining mini marshmallows on top.
- Gently press the remaining Rice Krispies mixture over the smores layer.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for about 15 minutes before slicing into squares.
