Ingredients:

  • 1 (28-32 ounce) bag frozen Tater Tots
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup, if desired.
  2. In a small bowl, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and let it sit for a few minutes to infuse the butter with garlic flavour.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the frozen Tater Tots, melted garlic butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian herbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss well to ensure the tots are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the Tater Tots in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Remove from oven and transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
