Ingredients:
- ¼ cup (60 ml) balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large portobello mushrooms (about 200g each), stems removed and cleaned
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
- Place the cleaned portobello mushrooms in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over them, ensuring all sides are coated. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat the grill to medium-high (about 375°F/190°C).
- Using tongs, place the marinated mushrooms on the grill, gill side down. Grill for 5-7 minutes.
- Flip and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender and have grill marks.
- Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
