Ingredients:

  • 1 package (3 oz) lime or green apple gelatin powder
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 0.5 cup lemon-lime soda (Sprite)
  • 0.25 cup Malibu coconut rum
  • 0.25 cup vodka
  • 1.25 cups whipped cream
  • 20 red heart sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Place 20 (2-ounce) plastic shot cups onto a baking sheet for stability.
  2. In a large heat-proof glass bowl, combine the gelatin powder and boiling water. Whisk continuously for 2 minutes until the gelatin is fully dissolved and no granules remain.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool for 3 minutes, then stir in the cold lemon-lime soda, Malibu coconut rum, and vodka.
  4. Carefully pour the mixture into the shot cups, filling each about 3/4 of the way full.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the gelatin is completely firm.
  6. Just before serving, top each shot with a swirl of whipped cream and one red heart sprinkle.
