Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14.9 oz) Guinness Draught
  • 2 large scoops (150g) Vanilla Bean ice cream
  • 1 oz Irish Whiskey
  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate syrup
  • 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 fresh mint sprig

Instructions:

  1. Place a tall pint glass in the freezer for 15 minutes. Once chilled, drizzle dark chocolate syrup in a spiral pattern around the inside of the glass.
  2. Tilt the chilled glass at a 45-degree angle and pour the Guinness Draught slowly until the glass is 3/4 full. If using whiskey, stir it into the beer now.
  3. Allow the beer to settle for about 30 seconds until the characteristic dark body and creamy head have fully separated.
  4. Gently place two large scoops of ice cream into the glass. Dust the top with cocoa powder or shaved chocolate and garnish with a mint sprig.
