Ingredients:
- 1 can (14.9 oz) Guinness Draught
- 2 large scoops (150g) Vanilla Bean ice cream
- 1 oz Irish Whiskey
- 1 tbsp dark chocolate syrup
- 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 fresh mint sprig
Instructions:
- Place a tall pint glass in the freezer for 15 minutes. Once chilled, drizzle dark chocolate syrup in a spiral pattern around the inside of the glass.
- Tilt the chilled glass at a 45-degree angle and pour the Guinness Draught slowly until the glass is 3/4 full. If using whiskey, stir it into the beer now.
- Allow the beer to settle for about 30 seconds until the characteristic dark body and creamy head have fully separated.
- Gently place two large scoops of ice cream into the glass. Dust the top with cocoa powder or shaved chocolate and garnish with a mint sprig.
