Ingredients:
- 4 large Lebanese pita breads (approx. 6 oz each)
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, slice each pita bread into 8 equal wedges to ensure uniform cooking.
- Place the pita wedges in a large bowl, drizzle with the olive oil, and toss gently with your hands to coat every millimeter.
- Sprinkle the fine sea salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cracked black pepper over the oiled bread, tossing again until evenly coated.
- Spread the wedges in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 7–10 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through, until edges are deep golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and transfer to a wire rack or let sit undisturbed on the pan for 10 minutes to allow the starches to set for a shattering texture.
