Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter
  • 1 (10 oz or 283g) package large marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 6 cups (170g) cornflakes cereal
  • 1/4 cup (30g) red and green candied cherries, halved
  • Optional: Green food coloring, sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the marshmallows and milk. Stir constantly until the marshmallows are completely melted and smooth.
  2. (Optional) Add a few drops of green food coloring to the marshmallow mixture and stir until desired color is achieved. Remove from heat. Gently fold in the cornflakes until they are evenly coated.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the cornflake mixture onto wax paper or parchment paper. Quickly shape each mound into a cornflake wreath.
  4. While the wreaths are still slightly soft, arrange the halved candied cherries on top to resemble berries. Add sprinkles if desired.
  5. Let the cornflake wreaths set completely at room temperature or transfer them to a baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
