Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter
- 1 (10 oz or 283g) package large marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 6 cups (170g) cornflakes cereal
- 1/4 cup (30g) red and green candied cherries, halved
- Optional: Green food coloring, sprinkles
Instructions:
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the marshmallows and milk. Stir constantly until the marshmallows are completely melted and smooth.
- (Optional) Add a few drops of green food coloring to the marshmallow mixture and stir until desired color is achieved. Remove from heat. Gently fold in the cornflakes until they are evenly coated.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cornflake mixture onto wax paper or parchment paper. Quickly shape each mound into a cornflake wreath.
- While the wreaths are still slightly soft, arrange the halved candied cherries on top to resemble berries. Add sprinkles if desired.
- Let the cornflake wreaths set completely at room temperature or transfer them to a baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
