Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp (57g) Unsalted Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups (355ml) Heavy Cream
- ½ cup (50g) Grated Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated is best
- ¼ tsp Sea Salt, or to taste
- ⅛ tsp Ground Black Pepper, or to taste
- Optional: Pinch of Nutmeg
Instructions:
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute), being careful not to burn it.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low and gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if using). Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. This keto alfredo sauce is amazing!
- Simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency. It should coat the back of a spoon.
