Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp (57g) Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups (355ml) Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup (50g) Grated Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated is best
  • ¼ tsp Sea Salt, or to taste
  • ⅛ tsp Ground Black Pepper, or to taste
  • Optional: Pinch of Nutmeg

Instructions:

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute), being careful not to burn it.
  2. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat to low and gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if using). Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. This keto alfredo sauce is amazing!
  5. Simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency. It should coat the back of a spoon.
