Ingredients:
- 2 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off, preferably wild-caught
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (10g)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (10g)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (1.25 ml)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the salmon fillets with the herb mixture. Top with lemon slices.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. This is the perfect baking salmon recipe.
- Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Serve immediately.
