Ingredients:
- 1 pint (250g) cherry tomatoes
- 8 oz (225g) mozzarella pearls
- 1 bunch (30g) fresh basil leaves
- 15 (4-inch) bamboo skewers
- 1/4 cup (60ml) balsamic glaze
- 2 tbsp (30ml) extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp (3g) sea salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) black pepper
Instructions:
- Thread one cherry tomato, one folded basil leaf, and one mozzarella pearl onto each skewer, pushing them firmly together to prevent wobbling.
- Arrange the completed skewers in a circular or linear pattern on a serving platter, leaving space between each skewer.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze in a zigzag motion across the platter, followed by a light drizzle of olive oil.
- Finish with a sprinkle of sea salt and black pepper just before serving.
