- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish with butter or line it with parchment paper for easy removal later.
- (Optional) In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
- (Optional) Remove from heat, then stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix well to ensure everything is combined evenly.
- Pour the fudge mixture into your prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly using a spatula.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts or toppings on top before it sets.
- Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until solid.
- Once set, lift the fudge out using the edges of the parchment paper (if used), cut into squares, and enjoy!
