Ingredients:
- 2 large ripe bananas (about 300g)
- 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter (unsweetened)
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1 cup (300g) Nutella
- 1 ripe banana, sliced (optional for layering)
- ½ cup (75g) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 2 tablespoons (30g) chopped peanuts (optional, for crunch)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease the baking dish lightly with oil or cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the 2 large ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the creamy peanut butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and whisk until well combined and smooth.
- Pour half of the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Spoon the Nutella evenly over the base layer. Optionally, place sliced bananas on top.
- Carefully spread the remaining peanut butter batter over the Nutella layer.
- Add chocolate chips and chopped peanuts on top.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
