Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk, at room temperature
  • ¾ cup Nutella

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour the loaf pan, or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Incorporate vanilla.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with whole milk until just combined.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of Nutella over the batter and gently swirl using an offset spatula or knife.
  9. Top with the remaining batter and repeat the Nutella spooning and swirling.
  10. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
