Ingredients:
- 1 lb (454g) ground turkey (93% lean)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup (50g) panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk (2% or whole)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
- In a large bowl, gently combine ground turkey, egg, panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Using your hands (dampened with water), roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley (if using).
