Ingredients:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet instant yeast (2 ¼ tsp or 7g)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole milk, warmed
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-3 tbsp milk or cream
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Whisk in warmed milk, melted butter, and eggs until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- In a bowl, combine sliced peaches, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside while the dough rises.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle (about 1/4 inch thick).
- Spread softened butter over the rolled dough.
- Evenly distribute the peach mixture over the buttered dough.
- Roll the dough tightly from one long edge to the other and cut into 12 equal pieces.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve immediately.
