Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240g) creamy peanut butter (unsalted)
- ½ cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (130g) all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (150g) Reese
- s Pieces candy
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line the baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
- In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using a whisk until smooth.
- Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently with a spatula until just combined (do not over-mix).
- Gently fold in about ¾ cup of the Reeses Pieces, reserving the rest for topping.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining Reeses Pieces over the top of the batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow blondies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment overhang. Cut into squares and serve.
