Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240g) creamy peanut butter (unsalted)
  • ½ cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (130g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (150g) Reese
  • s Pieces candy

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line the baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using a whisk until smooth.
  4. Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently with a spatula until just combined (do not over-mix).
  8. Gently fold in about ¾ cup of the Reeses Pieces, reserving the rest for topping.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining Reeses Pieces over the top of the batter.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  12. Allow blondies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment overhang. Cut into squares and serve.
