Ingredients:
- 2 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon/15ml olive oil
- 1 teaspoon/5ml lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon/2.5ml garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon/2.5ml paprika
- ¼ teaspoon/1.25ml salt
- ¼ teaspoon/1.25ml black pepper
- Fresh parsley or dill, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This helps them crisp up nicely in the air fryer.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush or rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring both sides are coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) if your model requires it.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
- Air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Check the internal temperature with an instant-read thermometer – it should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a minute or two before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill, if desired.
