Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs (680g) Salmon fillet, skin on or off, about 1-1.5 inches thick
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 Lemon, juiced (approx. 3 tablespoons)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. This prevents sticking and makes cleanup a breeze.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, dill, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk to combine.
- Place salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet. Pour the marinade evenly over the salmon, ensuring it's well coated.
- Bake for 12-18 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet.
- The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork or when an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 145°F (63°C).
- Let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute.
