Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets (approximately 6 oz / 170 g each, skin-on preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice (10 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill (2 g)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh dill or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet, skin side down.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, dill, salt, and pepper.
  5. Brush the olive oil mixture generously over the salmon fillets.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve with lemon wedges.
