Ingredients:
- 1 large head of broccoli (about 1.5 lbs/ 680g), cut into florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (2 ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (1 ml), or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1 ml), or to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for a touch of heat
- Optional: 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions:
- Wash the broccoli thoroughly. Chop the head of broccoli into even-sized florets.
- In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Ensure the broccoli is evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2 minutes (if your air fryer requires preheating).
- Place the broccoli florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. You may need to cook in batches.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the broccoli is tender-crisp and slightly browned.
- Transfer the cooked broccoli to a serving dish. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes or parmesan cheese (if using). Serve immediately.
