Ingredients:

  • 1 (12-16 ounce) bag frozen broccoli florets (450-450g)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt (3g)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1g)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (25g), optional
  • 1 lemon wedge, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread the frozen broccoli florets in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (if using).
  3. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the broccoli florets to the bowl and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the seasoned broccoli in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the broccoli is tender-crisp and slightly charred on the edges.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (if using). Serve immediately with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, if desired.
