Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs (approx. 300g)
- 1 cup heavy cream (240ml)
- 1 cup milk (240ml)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar, approximately 120g)
- 1 cup cooked vegetables (e.g., spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, around 150g)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1 tsp garlic powder or onion powder
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, and milk until well combined. Add salt, pepper, and optional seasonings, whisking until incorporated.
- Stir in the cooked vegetables and shredded cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish or quiche pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. The quiche will puff up and the top should be golden brown.
- Insert a knife into the centre; it should come out clean when done.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
