Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs (approx. 300g)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (240ml)
  • 1 cup milk (240ml)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar, approximately 120g)
  • 1 cup cooked vegetables (e.g., spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, around 150g)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 tsp garlic powder or onion powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, and milk until well combined. Add salt, pepper, and optional seasonings, whisking until incorporated.
  3. Stir in the cooked vegetables and shredded cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish or quiche pan.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. The quiche will puff up and the top should be golden brown.
  6. Insert a knife into the centre; it should come out clean when done.
  7. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
